GENERAL RULES - All drivers must wear proper racing gear at all times (helmet, neck brace, jacket (if no jacket long sleeves), gloves, etc). No shorts in junior classes. - Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated, and will result in disqualification. Drivers are responsible for the actions of crew members. - All drivers are expected to keep the pit areas clean before they leave. Thank you! - All engine oils and fuels will need to be emptied in oil barrels. Please do not empty on ground. Thank you for your cooperation. - Driver’s must attend pit meetings. This will be mandatory!! No exceptions! - Inspections areas and scoring area are off limits during all race events. This will be enforced. - Crew members cannot approach karts in scale area until the kart has passed the scale area. - The track reserves the right to tech any engine or kart at any time. Anyone refusing tech will be disqualified. - If a driver is disqualified or black flagged for any reason, he must exit the track immediately. - If a driver retailiate while a caution is out he will be disqualified. If a driver retailiates when leaving the track he will be disqualified. - Cautions will not be called unless someone is in harms way. OHV Blue Junior classes will be the only exceptions. - Any kart that can not proceed after 2 laps of caution must be immediately removed from the track. - All karts must have clear visible numbers, or will not be scored. - All weights must be bolted on with 5/16 or larger bolts and must be double nutted or cotter keyed. All weights must be painted white with their number either stamped on painted on the weights. If any weights come off a kart during a race that kart will be disqualified. It is recommended that you only use weights 5 lbs or under on a kart. - Anyone entering "hot area" i.e. scales too fast at any time the kart being represented will be disqualified. After crossing scales the karts should be turned off and push to the pit areas. - Drivers are solely responsible for all crew members at all times. No crew member will be allowed onto the track area without approval from track officials. Drivers will be subject to disqualification if any crew member does not follow the track rules or does not act in a proper manner. Crew members are not allowed to jump the fence at any time. It is the responsibility of every person in the pits to act in a sportsmanlike manner. - No cursing at officials, other racers, or spectators. No fighting. - Drugs or Alcohol will not be tolerated. Violations will result in removal from premises. - Weapons on premises will not be tolerated. Violations will result in removal from premises. - There will be a 5 minute hold for protest for the top 4 or 5 karts (depending on the kart count and money races) after crossing the scale. Do not leave the scale area until told to do so by the scale official. - Anyone not crossing the scales will be disqualified (qualifying or main). - All races we will attempt two "double file" starts. If they cannot start the race, we will do a single file start, no caution, unless kart or driver is in danger. Deliberate spin or stopping on track to "bait" caution will result in disqualification. - On a single file restart no passing until after the start line. This is not the finish line. There is a start line at J & M. - Double file restart will result only if there are 2 or more karts causing the caution in adult classes. - Blocking during a race is not allowed, until the white flag lap. - Karts attempting to rough drive another by running them up the track or down the track will not be tolerated. - Pump around will not be used. We have fuel tester. - If you are not on the grid and ready to race when your class is released onto the track, you will miss your event. If you are on the grid and experience a problem, you will have 2 laps to enter the track, after which the race will begin and you will not be allowed to enter. - While one race is on the track, the next class must be lined up on the grid, ready to go. - Decisions made by the flagman and/or race director are final. - If you cause 2 cautions in any race, you will be black flagged off the track until your next race. Junior classes will be the exception. - Super heavy drivers must weigh at least 200 lbs race ready. Total weight is 400 lbs kart and driver. No weights added in driver’s personal body or racing gear. - Sumo drivers must weigh at least 215 lbs race ready. Kart and driver 415 lbs. No weights added in driver's personal body or racing gear. - Triple X drives must weigh at least 250 lbs race ready. Kart and drive 450 lbs. No weights added in driver's personal body or racing gear. - Rain Delays/Rain Outs and payouts for heats will be as follows. If you get your 1 heat (all classes) in we will pay based on actual results If you do not get in your 1 heat we will scratch everything and start new show on rain date. We will hold for 1 hour to determine whether racing or not. - Rain Delays/Rain Outs and payouts for qualifying will be as follows. If we qualify and you get your qualifying in we will pay based on your qualifing results. If you do not get (all classes) qualifying in we will scratch everything and start a new show on rain date. We will hold for 1 hour to determine whether racing or not. - Rain Delays/Rain Outs and payouts for money shows $1,000 and up will be as follows. All of these races will not be considered a rain out. We will hold all racers until the determination of the outcome. If a race is not completed we will have a makeup race date. No payouts will be made until the race is completed. Makeup race date will be determined on which date the original race was scheduled. Example if it is a Saturday, we will hold the makeup race date on the following Sunday. - Rain Delays during heats and/or feature will be called based on the flagman’s determination of track safety. If he stops the race at any time for a rain delay, you need to exit the track immediately. The race is under a red flag and karts cannot be worked on. The race director and/or flagman will determine if it is safe to return to the track. Drivers need to finish the race before they will get scored or a pay out. We will hold for 1 hour to determine whether racing is advisable or not. - Once Hot laps sessions have been closed, we will not allow anyone to have practice or extra hot laps on the track. Don't ask and do not take it upon yourself to enter the track. If you are caught on the track after hot lap sessions have been closed, you will not be allowed to run your first heat. The only exception to this rule is if someone comes in late as a result of a unavoidable issue. - All classes, except OHV Blue Rookies, must know their starting position. We will not throw a caution if your are not in your correct position at the start of a race. - Adult Beginners - After you have 2 feature wins you will graduate and not be allowed to run in this class again. - OHV Blue Rookie & Junior 1 classes - If you move up a class you cannot move back down. OHV Blue Rookies, OHV Blue Junior 1. - After entering the track for starting postions and someone has broken or not entered the track we will not criss cross lineups. All karts on the inside/outside of the lineup will move straight ahead to get the track position. - We will race back to the flag in all adult classes. - We will go back a lap in all children’s classes. - Children that are 13 years of age will be allowed to race in adult classes, if they have a birthday during our racing season. You will need to show proof. - We will be having time limits on heats and features. - Intermission between heats will be 10 minutes. Intermission between your 2nd heat and feature will be 15 minutes. - Driver’s under the age of 16 must show proof of age. - All parents need to sign a release form for their children to race. This will be mandatory! This will be a one time release kept on file. - We will run any class. 2 or more makes a class. |
